Spring 2008 Medals
Spring 2008 Standings are now final.
Coaches of Division Winning Teams will be notified of when and where to pick up medals.
Special Note concerning Gladiator Fields (WOS 1, 2, 3, & 4)
1) ABSOLUTLEY NO WARMING UP IN THE GOAL BOX (the “18”)
2) No dogs allowed on the premises
3) NO PARKING OUTSIDE OF THE DESIGNATED PARKING SPACES (Stay off the grass)
This applies to all soccer fields.
This season we have had severe problems at the WOS fields. Please make
sure you adhere to the above regulations.

Standings
Spring 2008 Standings are now final.
The Fall 2007 standings and standings from other previous seasons can be
found here.
Spring 2008 Schedules
There were 241 games cancelled due to weather.
43 games have been listed as Not Played ('NP').
Schedules are now posted. All Team Packets have
been mailed to Club Directors or directly to the coaches. Please note,
several Clubs picked up Team Packets at the January 29th NSL Meeting.
If you are with one of the following clubs:
CSA, Elkhorn, Gladiator, Gretna, Hastings, LSC, Millard, Phoenix, Papillion, or Toro,
you should have already received your packet. Please contact your Club
Director/Administrator if you have not received your packet.
Coaches Lists and Coach's Handbook are now posted.

All Nebraska Soccer League games scheduled at the Jeffrey C. Dible Soccer
Complex in South Sioux City will be played on the following fields:
BPI will be SSC-1, WELLS FARGO will be SSC-2, KLINGER will be SSC-3,
and NUTRA-FLO will be SSC-4.

Special Note On Tranquility
Attention: Coaches, Players, Parents, Referees
Tranquility Park is experiencing a rash of car break-ins. Please do not
leave any valuables in sight. Don't leave purses, bags, etc. sitting in
your car. Please report any suspicious activity that you may see in the
Tranquility Parking Lot to the Omaha Police.

and NUTRA-FLO will be SSC-4.
Referees
The list of referee coordinators has changed.
There is a new referee pay scale. This scale
will go into effect August 1, 2007.

Coaches Newsletter
Nebraska Soccer League Board Meeting.
Next meeting will be Monday, June 2, 2008 at 7:00 PM.
The meeting location will be in the "Capitol" Conference Room at the
Country Inn & Suites in Lincoln. The Country Inn & Suites is
located 1.5 miles South of I-80. Take exit 403 (27th St.), go
South 1.5 miles. This will be the Spring 2008 Post-Season Meeting.
Postcard reminders will be sent.
Notes
The League experienced problems with unruly parents bringing their pets
to the soccer complexes last season. There were three major
confrontations at three different sites. Pets are not allowed at any of
the fields. The following complexes do not allow pets anywhere within
their complex;

If pets are seen at the above complexes, the proper authorities will be
called and the pet will be removed.
Coaches, please let your parents know. No pets allowed on any soccer
fields and the complexes listed above, no pets allowed anywhere within the
grounds.
Please do not warm up in penalty areas prior to start of games in order
to preserve fields.
Attention Coaches: Parents have caused more problems this season than
any player or coach. Please keep your parents in line, they are making
it difficult for anyone to enjoy the games, especialy their sons
and daughters. Parents should only voice words of encouragement.
There have been some incidents where parents have negatively expressed
themselves towards parents and players of the opponents. This has
created highly tense situations in some games for everyone involved.
Coaches, please do everything possible to keep your parents in line.

There were 22 red cards issued during the Fall 2007 season.
There were 12 red cards issued during the Spring 2007 season.
There were 30 red cards issued during the Fall 2006 season.
There were 9 red cards issued during the Spring 2006 season.
There were 49 red cards issued during the Fall 2005 season.
There were 9 red cards issued during the Spring 2005 season.
There were 44 red cards issued during the Fall 2004 season.
There were 12 red cards issued during the Spring 2004 season.
There were 25 red cards issued during the Fall 2003 season.
There were 16 red cards issued during the Spring 2003 season.
There were 44 red cards issued during the Fall 2002 season.
There were 14 red cards issued during the Spring 2002 season.
There were 46 red cards issued during the Fall 2001 season.
Coaches, the league is counting on you to control your players, fans, and
yourselves, so the number of red cards can greatly be reduced.
